ABOUT THE COLLECTION

The bold constructions Stéphane Mouflette evoke the world of childhood, that of building games where you had to patiently assemble kits parts that unveils the final draft – extraordinary animals; improbable dwellings; transportation machines from another time, past or future.

Because Stéphane Mouflette’s dreamlike universe topples the regardeur into a timeless dimension. He enjoys strolling through these miniature architectures, his eye scans in the hope of solving the mystery of their assemblies, he lets himself be transported into another world, one very personal of the dream, and fantasy. His objects-fetishs are mental projection spaces, open to the intimate interpretation of each.

Each element of Stéphane Mouflette’s three-dimensional puzzles is studied carefully, every detail is demonstrating his extreme thoroughness, his huge strictness. He fascinates with his ability to execute and make it functional small poetic worlds, utopias where wittiness and wonder are the keystones of a work undeniably playful.

Holding a degree in woodworking crafts and rich of a training in visual arts at the Sorbonne, Stéphane Mouflette embodies the figure of the designer-creator. He is a free electron on the current design scene.

Based in Paris, the gallery represents and edits collectible pieces in limited edtion. Every work is original and delivered with a certificate of authenticity from the artist. We provide council to our clients in their acquisitions and assist in personalised orders. Our international network and unique, cultivated relationships allow us to present original and unique works.

We favour a delivery service adapted to the value and the nature of the pieces offered. Our partners, galleries and artists work with couriers qualified for the transportation of artworks all around the world. In order to assist the clients, Kolkhoze supervises the transportation up until the final destination. Every delivery requires an online quotation that will be provided within the next three working days. The clients can also collect their item themselves.
