Julian MAYOR’s work is inspired by the sculptural possibilities of computers combined with industrial and craft making processes. After graduating from the Royal College of Art in 2000 he worked in California as a designer for IDEO design consultancy.
On returning to London in 2002 he worked for Pentagram and other design studios before teaching 3D modelling at the London College of Communication and starting to exhibit his own work. His designs have been shown at the V&A London, Rossana Orlandi Milan, Armel Soyer Galerie Paris and 21st gallery New York, and he has also installed a permanent series of sculptural benches in a park behind the Tate Britain in Pimlico, London. In 2014, Galerie Armel Soyer Paris devotes him a solo show : « Organic Geometry » and present Glenda Gold and Creature at design Miami/Basel. In 2016, Dilmos Gallery, Milan presents him in a sho ‘Raw Nature’ with Casa Vogue.

Based in Paris, the gallery represents and edits collectible pieces in limited edtion. Every work is original and delivered with a certificate of authenticity from the artist. We provide council to our clients in their acquisitions and assist in personalised orders. Our international network and unique, cultivated relationships allow us to present original and unique works.

We favour a delivery service adapted to the value and the nature of the pieces offered. Our partners, galleries and artists work with couriers qualified for the transportation of artworks all around the world. In order to assist the clients, Kolkhoze supervises the transportation up until the final destination. Every delivery requires an online quotation that will be provided within the next three working days. The clients can also collect their item themselves.
