About the designer

Victor Guedy
French artist, Paris

Victor Guedy was born to a family of artists and entertainers. After spending three years focusing on the metaphysical and obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy, Guedy was pulled towards the traditional art of stone carving, and he began an apprenticeship to learn the craft. This lead him to work with some of the greatest talents in architecture, art and design, including Joseph Dirand, Harumi Klossowska de Rola, Raphael Navot.

It was at the Fonderie de Coubertin that his love for bronze was ignited, and where he gained a mastery over the metal, alongside the last artisans who cast Rodin’s works.

Guedy’s sculpture is reminiscent of Nietzschean philosophy: transmuting traditional values into new narratives. Victor Guedy lives and works in Paris.

Based in Paris, the gallery represents and edits collectible pieces in limited edtion. Every work is original and delivered with a certificate of authenticity from the artist. We provide council to our clients in their acquisitions and assist in personalised orders. Our international network and unique, cultivated relationships allow us to present original and unique works.

We favour a delivery service adapted to the value and the nature of the pieces offered. Our partners, galleries and artists work with couriers qualified for the transportation of artworks all around the world. In order to assist the clients, Kolkhoze supervises the transportation up until the final destination. Every delivery requires an online quotation that will be provided within the next three working days. The clients can also collect their item themselves.
