Kolkhoze is an art design gallery based in Paris and a global space of curation in direct contact with designers that matter in the contemporary art market. A scene in perpetual evolution and a necessary interface between the |new| collectors, decorators and creative studios.

From conceptual design to “haute-facture” furniture, the collection gathers some of the finest pieces in limited edition, referenced in international exhibitions and fairs.

Kolkhoze intends to creatively bring together designers and private clients looking for unique opportunities and projects made-to-measure.

How we work

We conclude long-term agreements with major contemporary designers around the world. All pieces are carefully curated according to their worth on the art design market and the guarantee of master craftsmanship. Every work is original and delivered with a certificate of authenticity from the artist.

We provide council to our clients in their acquisitions, and we assist them in personalized orders thanks to our direct relationships with the designers.

The two creators of Kolkhoze – with their complementary personalities – both carry the same iconoclastic look on contemporary creation and defend the idea of an authentic and non-trite luxury.

Film and television producer, deputy managing director of the Coyote media group,  Thibaut Van den bergh is interested in new talents defending a strict editorial line and committed to creative processes. As a lover of exceptional furniture and decorative arts, he imagined Kolkhoze as a creative and open space that will allow a new generation of collectors to access the close circle of galleries and creation studios. Thibaut Van den bergh works also as a talent manager for designers.

Active actor in the creation – and then development – of the magazines L’optimum and Jalouse, Thomas Erber then created L’Officiel Voyage. He was the editor in chief of the Lifestyle supplement of the newspaper Le Monde, senior reporter with Vogue Homme International Man, co-founder of the TV program Pink – France 2 – dedicated to art, fashion, design, travel, etc. During his 12 years career, he has built an international network that places him today as one of the most important influencers and consultants in image and content strategy of our era. Erber is also the creator of the now famous Cabinet de Curiosités de Thomas Erber and has just set up a permanent version of it in Hôtel de Crillon, one of the most famous Parisian palaces.
